Installation Recommendations:
If you've never done it before and plan to install by yourself, you can view a tutorial on Google or YouTube before installing on how to install a strap button as placement varies for each guitar, you need to be smart about where you drill into your guitar, and need to know how to protect the finish on your guitar while drilling.

They hold good as long as you install it right:
When installing, the position of the button should be closer to the fretboard than the bottom of the neck. Not by much, but if it isn't your guitar may want to tip away from you;
Making a test hole first in something other than your musical instrument;
Make sure you use glue or put a piece of painter's tape or blue masking tape on the wood before you drill into your guitar, this will help it to stay in the wood and not back out;
Make sure to simply pre-drill the hole smaller than the threads on the button (such as 3/32" pilot) first to fit the screw so as to prevent wood from splitting, you're better off with "S" hooks in drilled holes to avoid the screws go tilt.

Easy to install with a drill and a screw driver. Screws may snap off inside guitar when tightened, so if you can drill appropriately, it'll avoid stress on the screw.

Some of our customers feedbacked to us that the previous screws were too thick and cracked the wood, to prevent it, we've upgraded the screws into a little smaller and thinner, but don't worry, they fit well and enough secure.
